High alumina brick is a type of alumina-silicate refractory material product with aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) as its main component. It is formed and fired from bauxite or other raw materials with a high alumina content. It has strong resistance to both acidic and alkaline slags, high refractoriness and high-temperature mechanical strength, but its resistance to rapid heating and cooling is slightly inferior to that of clay bricks.

一.Physical And Chemical Indicators of High alumina brick

二.Performance Characteristics
1. Excellent Refractory Performance: The refractoriness can reach 1750~1790℃, belonging to the category of advanced refractory materials, and can adapt to the demanding working conditions of high-temperature industrial furnaces.
2. Outstanding Load Softening Temperature: Thanks to the high Al₂O₃ content and low impurity content, the amount of easily fusible glass phase in the product is small, and the load softening temperature is significantly higher than that of ordinary clay bricks, usually above 1420-1550℃; however, because the internal mullite crystals do not form a network interweaving structure, its load softening temperature is still lower than that of silica bricks.
3. Balanced Slag Corrosion Resistance: Due to the high Al₂O₃ content, high-alumina bricks are close to neutral refractory materials, which can effectively resist the erosion of both acidic and alkaline slag, only slightly inferior in resistance to alkaline slag compared to acidic slag.
4. Reliable Compressive Strength: Possesses high compressive strength, which can maintain structural stability during the long-term operation of the furnace and ensure production safety.
5. Strong Structural Stability: The product is rich in mullite crystals (the main component is aluminum oxide), forming a complete granular structure, which greatly improves the overall stability of high-alumina bricks.
6. Excellent Wear Resistance: High-alumina bricks are hard in texture and have excellent wear resistance, which can reduce surface wear under working conditions with frequent media scouring, extending the service life of high-temperature furnaces.
