Rock Wool Board

1. Appearance quality: The surface should be flat, without scratches, stains, or damage that would hinder its practical use.

2. Combustion performance: Non-combustible.

3. Thermal load shrinkage temperature: 643 degrees Celsius.

4. Moisture absorption: 3.9%.

5. Organic matter content: 2.9%.

三.Types of Rock Wool Boards

Rock wool boards are divided into many types, including thermal insulation rock wool boards, waterproof rock wool boards, fireproof rock wool boards, and water-repellent rock wool boards.

Marine and water-repellent rock wool boards are produced with the addition of water-repellent additives, giving them good moisture resistance. Marine rock wool boards are used for thermal insulation and fire barriers in ships; water-repellent rock wool boards are used in vehicles, mobile equipment, cold storage projects, air conditioning ducts, and applications in humid environments where moisture resistance is required.

Building rock wool boards have excellent fire resistance, thermal insulation, and sound absorption properties. They are mainly used for thermal insulation and sound insulation of building walls and roofs; and for fire protection and noise reduction in building partitions, firewalls, fire doors, and elevator shafts.
